Research Staff development at Newcastle
Research is a core output of this university and good researchers are highly valued. The University is aware of the unique issues that affect research staff and is committed to providing dedicated support for those researchers. Today, this support is delivered by the Research Staff Support Team, a small dedicated team within the Staff Development Unit with the objective to deliver support and resources required by researchers to help them excel in their research, and to facilitate their personal and professional growth.This site gives an overview of the support that is available, including opportunities for training, development and networking, and issues around funding and career management. Support available does extend beyond the content of this site. You are therefore invited to take full advantage of the communication mechanisms outlined here to make sure that the University is always aware of your needs.
